MRT is a "a cognitive-behavioral treatment system that leads to enhanced moral reasoning, better decision making, and more appropriate behavior." This group comes with a workbook that clients will complete outside of group and present their completed assignments to fellow participants. MRT is an ongoing group and new participants are able to join immediately is space is available.
Seeking Safety is a group that is geared towards individuals struggling with substance abuse with a history of trauma. The goals of the group are to decrease symptoms of trauma and reduce frequency of substance use, while helping participants to develop and utilize safe coping skills in their relationships, thinking, behavior and emotions.
SMART Recovery groups help individuals in recovery build and maintain motivation for change, cope with urges and cravings, manage thoughts feelings and behaviors and move towards a balanced life.
The relapse prevention matrix model is geared towards individuals who struggle with alcohol and stimulant dependence. Clients receive information, assistance in structuring a substance-free lifestyle, and support to achieve and maintain abstinence from drugs and alcohol.
We also offer 1x1 counseling for our group participants who would like additional and more individualized therapeutic support in their recovery journey.
